Owen is getting the routine check and bath, they moved us to Post Partem. Steph is feeling great and resting.

Owen has arrived at 1:21 March 10th, 2009. The nurses had to hold him in he came so quickly. Steph pushed once, talk about speedy.
He looks good he had a 99 APGAR score.
STATS
weight = 6lbs 13oz
lenght = 20inches

Eyes were wide open and he is really quiet and loves his moma already. Pics to come give 5 minutes

We are ready, doc is on way, delivery imminent. 1:15

Update 5 12:40

Steph is at an 8 almost 100% efacement. Things are moving, get yer weight guesses in

Update 4 after water

Water broke. Steph is a 4 with 75% efacement. Owen is at zero station

Update 3 - Noon

Doc is in to break Steph's water. Keep guessing the weight

Update 2 Contest

11:00am here Auntie Ginger has arrived and Steph is in good spirits. She is measuring a 4 now and all is good.

Contest for weight - Please guess the weight of Owen by using the comments. Note yesterday on the ultrasound the doc guessed 6lbs so using that please give us lbs and oz. Winner gets bragging rights.

Update 1 - 10:15 am

Hey everyone its Nate here.

We arrived at Centennial around 5:45am and checked in. The nurses are great and Steph measured at a 2 with 50% efacement. They started the petosin (sp?) and she is progessing right along she last measured a 3 and hour ago. Conctractions are speeding up and they just gave her an epidural so she is doing real good. The doc will break her water just after noon CST. Keep praying ... and thanks

My Sweet Girls

Today we found out that Baby Owen will be born tomorrow. The girls are very excited to meet their brother. They have enjoyed patting my belly, watching him move, talking to him and giving him/me kisses. It will be so fun tomorrow to have them do all those things to him and not just to my belly! We appreciate all your prayers and will keep you updated on his arrival!
